What is Coaching?
The main aim of Coaching is to help you to clarify your personal and / or professional goals or direction and to find your own solutions and way forward. A fundamental principle of coaching is that you are the expert on your own life, and you know the best way forward for you, even if that is not yet clear. Coaching is a collaborative process in which you are an active participant; my role as a coach is not to impart knowledge or give you the answers, but to ask effective questions which move you forward in the direction of your goals. Coaching provides a non-judgmental, supportive space in which you can explore, be challenged and make steps towards change.
What is Coaching Psychology?
Coaching psychology draws on a range of psychological domains, including cognitive psychology, social psychology, developmental psychology and biological psychology. A broad and solid understanding of these areas guides my coaching questions in a way which helps raise your self-awareness and make effective changes. In addition, any tools or interventions I may offer are evidence-based.
What to expect
If you are interested in coaching, please first book a free 30-minute discovery call. The purpose of this initial meeting is for me to get an idea of the general area you want to work on and for us to decide whether coaching is the right way forward for you at this time, and whether I am the right coach for you.
If you decide to work with me, you can either book a single session (60 – 90 minutes) and reassess at the end of that, or you can book a block of 4 or 6 sessions, which can be taken weekly or on an ad-hoc basis, which may depend on what best serves your goals.
Coaching fees
Single Session (60 – 90 minutes): £80
Block of 4 sessions (60 – 90 minutes): £300
Block of 6 sessions (60 – 90 minutes): £450
Sessions can be taken individually with no ongoing commitment.
If you have a wider issue you want to work on, you may wish to book a block of 4 or 6 sessions.
